Last year, I went to a few of the student activities Drew hosted and they did not let me down. From therapy dogs and horses to cactus painting, there was always something to do on campus. This past week, I was able to talk with Carmine Biancamano, CRE of Late Night and Weekend Programming, and discuss different events students can look forward to seeing these next few weeks. There are plenty of events happening this month, so make sure to be on the lookout for these this September:

Avengers Endgame Movie Night
When: Saturday, Sept. 14 at 9 p.m.
Where: Ranger Stadium.
What can you expect? A free movie and free popcorn! Make sure to bring a blanket and chairs to camp out on the field with some friends.
Paint Night 21+
When: Thursday, Sept. 19 at 6:30 p.m. check-in
Where: The Pub.
What can you expect? Students over 21 can enjoy drinks and painting with an instructor. First come, first serve basis with 30 people max.
When: Friday, Sept. 20 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
What can you expect? Enjoy NYC based food while learning about nycTRECS.
Drew Bronx Zoo
When: Saturday Sept. 21 at 8 p.m.
Where: EC Front Patio.
What can you expect? Come and pet some animals! Also, make a stuffed plushie!
When: Monday, Sept. 23 at 5 p.m.
Where: Tolley-Brown Circle and around campus.
What can you expect? Cool off and enjoy the end of summer with ice-cream!
Also, don’t forget that Family Weekend, the Launch Expo and Ranger Weekend will all be on the weekend of Oct.11 to 13! There will be various activities for people of all ages! Try to catch a Ranger athletics event to support your friends or go to a showcase in the EC with your family. Make sure to go out and support the numerous club activities on campus this semester as well!
