Susquehanna, in a Landmark Conference playoff qualifier, held a 7-0 shot advantage in the opening quarter before turning up the pressure in the second period with 10 shots and 13 penalty corners. However, the Ranger defense held strong and it was a scoreless game at the half.
The River Hawks attempted another seven shots in the third quarter before breaking through with the game's lone goal. The visitors posted seven additional shots, but Slossar and the Rangers stood tall and kept it a one-goal game. Carly Schiller (’22) made a pair of defensive saves to finish with seven on the season to lead all Rangers.
The Rangers finished their season with a record of 3-16, 0-7 LC. Drew women’s field hockey will be back again next year. Thank you for your support this season.
